Was about time. They need to go global if they want to have a lasting impact.
I have the original Nook and the Nook Touch Glowlight, and love them. There's nothing better for reading books.
Like with all my Android devices, I have them rooted, of course...

I've written about the failed Unix business "The SCO Group", aka TSG, before.
They finally are in Chapter 7 bankruptcy, i.e., liquidation.
An article on ZDNet calls it "SCO is finally ?Dead Parrot? dead".
Indeed, and good riddance.

NASA's openness of the landing, despite the obvious risks, was a great thing. I hope they keep it up.

I have written before about some diploma mills that got shut down by the authorities, here and here.
Today, yet another such diploma mill, Herguan in Sunnyvale, CA, was shut down, and the CEO arrested.

Essentially a "so long and thanks for all the fish".
Further development on Thunderbird is coming to a halt.
