Here are the letters from Palo Verde Housing that I received, and my answer to them.
Letter #1 is essentially the same as the email I got (see here.)
Letter #2:
My letter in response to the letters from the PV Housing office:
Palo Verde Housing
Attn: Bryan McCormick
1101 Palo Verde Road
Irvine, CA 92697-3930Re: Your email, letters from August 23, 2004
Mr. McCormick:
On August 23, 2004, I received an email and two letters from you regarding an alleged violation of the Palo Verde Housing Rental Agreement.
The first letter in its essential parts repeated the allegations made in your email, which I had already refuted in my reply, also via email.
The second letter, while correcting the administrative errors of the first one, continues to falsely allege a violation of the Palo Verde Housing Rental Agreement, with different, but equally false quotes from the rental agreement.
Specifically, your letter quotes sections of a rental agreement that either do not exist in my rental agreement at all or do not exist in the form quoted.
In particular, Section 13 of my rental agreement differs in its entirety from the one you quoted, and the Section 22 you quoted does not exist in my rental agreement.
It is obvious that Palo Verde Housing does not maintain adequate records.
The air conditioner that I indeed have uses a temporary installation, which does not result in any damage, structurally or otherwise, to the interior or exterior of the building. It is therefore allowed according to my rental agreement.Regards,
Joachim Feise
