Some time ago, I wrote about spam I got from the National Federation of the Blind (here and here.)
Now I am getting spam from the US Red Cross.
What connects these spam runs is the company that actually sends out the spam. In both cases, a company called Convio does the actual mailing. In this case, the email address in question actually doesn't even exist. It is just handled by my catch-all email forwarding.
The Red Cross really should stop using such a slime-ball company.
